What is the Top Options section?

The Top Options filter is a smart shortlist within Scalper that surfaces the most relevant options contracts for your selected underlying, so you don't have to scroll through a full options chain to find a contract to trade.

What Top Options shows:

  • The most actively traded options contracts for the current instrument (e.g., Nifty or BankNifty).

  • Contracts ranked by a combination of open interest, trading volume, and proximity to the current market price (ATM, near-ITM, near-OTM) for for Call and Put options.

  • Live premium, percentage change, and key Greeks for each contract in the filtered list.

How to use the Top Options filter:

  1. In Scalper, look for the top scrollable tab beside P&L

  2. Scroll right to the ‘Top Options’ button.

  3. Tap it to see the filtered list of recommended contracts for the current instrument.

  4. Tap any contract in the list to load it into the Scalper panel for trading.


Note: The Top Options list updates live as market conditions change. A contract that was ATM at market open may shift OTM as the underlying moves, the filter re-ranks automatically to keep the most relevant contracts at the top.
