What is the Live Market Clock in Sahi Scalper and how do I use it?

The Live Market Clock is a visual display in Sahi Scalper showing a real-time countdown of time remaining in the current trading session. It is particularly useful for options traders who need to be aware of:

  • How much time is left before the auto square-off window begins at 3:20 PM for MIS positions.

  • How time decay (Theta) is accelerating as the session approaches close.

  • When to make carry-forward decisions if you want to convert a position to NRML before the session ends.

 

The clock is displayed prominently within the Scalper interface so you can monitor session time at a glance without leaving your trading screen or checking your phone's system clock.

Tip: For options buyers, the Live Market Clock is a constant reminder that Theta is working against you with every passing minute. Use it to set time-based exit rules for yourself, for example, exit any open position with 30 minutes or less remaining in the session.
