How do trigger entry orders work in Sahi Scalper?

Limit/Trigger entry orders let you pre-configure a entry point on the chart in Scalper, with your desired direction (buy/sell), quantity, SL, and TP, and specify a trigger price. Scalper monitors the market and automatically executes your entry when the trigger price is reached.

How to set a trigger entry in Scalper:

  1. In Scalper, click on the Limit/Trigger on Chart button to access the Trigger Entry option from the order panel.

  2. Set your trigger price on the chart at the price level at which you want the entry to execute.

  3. Then click on Buy or Sell, based on your requirement

  4. This will activate the trigger on the chart and monitor the live price in the background.

  5. When the market reaches your trigger price, Scalper executes the entry and automatically places your configured SL and TP.

Important: A trigger entry does not guarantee execution exactly at the trigger price. It sends the entry order when the trigger is touched; the actual fill depends on market liquidity and exchange conditions at that moment.

Note: Trigger entries are active only while the Sahi app is open and connected to the internet. If you close the app or lose connection, active triggers are cancelled.
