Non-agricultural contracts such as gold, silver, crude oil and natural gas trade from 9:00am to 11:30pm, extending to 11:55pm in winter.

Are commodity contracts on SAHI cash settled or physically settled?

Cash settled. SAHI does not support physical delivery of commodities.

Do I need a separate account to trade commodities?

No. Commodities work inside your existing SAHI account with the same login and the same funds. If your income proof is on file from the last 12 months, activation takes 24 to 48 hours.

Can I use pledged holdings as margin for commodities?

Yes. Stocks and ETFs you already hold can be pledged for margin against commodity futures and options selling.
