Which exchanges and segments are covered?

Four segments across two exchanges:

  • NSE — cash equities, ETFs and indices

  • NFO — NSE futures and options, on both indices and stocks

  • BSE — cash equities, ETFs and indices

  • BFO — BSE futures and options

That's what you send as exchange_segment on an order. Indices are included for market data but can't be traded — they're marked tradable = 0 in the scrip master.
