Does the scrip master cover everything I can trade? Which columns should I check?

It covers every instrument that's tradable or quotable on NSE and BSE: cash equities and ETFs, index and stock futures, index and stock options, plus the indices themselves.

Before you send an order, check three columns. tradable = 0 means the instrument can't be ordered: that's the case for indices (you can still subscribe to them for market data) and for instruments the exchange has frozen. sqr_off_only = 1 means only closing orders are accepted. trade_to_trade = 1 means no intraday product, delivery only.
