Trend Navigator

Question 1: What is Trend Navigator?

A single line that tells you the trend direction by colour (up, down, or neutral). It works by comparing now to the most similar past moments rather than using a plain average, so it filters out noise.

Question 2: How do I use it?

Lean toward buys while the line shows its 'up' colour and price is above it, sells while it's 'down'. The cleanest entries are when the colour flips, matched with the bigger trend.

Question 3: What are the settings?

Which price measure it tracks, how far back it looks, and how many similar past moments it compares against.

Question 4: How is it different from a normal moving average?

A normal average just blends the last N bars equally. This one weighs the moments that most resemble now and adds a direction vote - so it's better at ignoring chop, but slightly slower at turns.

Question 5: When should I stay out?

When it's in its neutral colour and going flat - that's a 'no clear trend' message. Don't force trades then.
