What is an IPO lot size?

The lot size represents the minimum number of shares you can apply for in an IPO. All applications must be in multiples of the lot size. For instance, if an IPO has a lot size of 32 shares with a price range of ₹450-₹465, valid applications would be for 32, 64, 96, or 128 shares.

Note: SME IPO shares continue to be traded in multiples of their IPO lot size even in the secondary market.
