What is the P&L Calendar and how do I read it?

The P&L Calendar in Sahi gives you a visual, date-by-date view of your realised trading profits and losses. Each trading day is colour-coded so you can instantly see your winning days, losing days, and your overall performance trend across weeks and months.

How to access the P&L Calendar:

  1. Go to Profile in the Sahi app.
  2. Tap on P&L Calender.
  3. Select the Month from the dropdown menu.
  4. The calendar opens showing the current month. You can swipe left or right to navigate between months.

How to read the P&L Calendar:

Calendar element What it means
Green date You had a net realised profit on that trading day.
Red date You had a net realised loss on that trading day.
Grey / blank date No trades were executed on that day (non-trading day or you did not trade).
P&L amount on date The net realised P&L for that specific day — tap to see the trade-level breakdown.
Monthly summary bar Shows your total net P&L for the entire month at a glance.

Tapping a date:
Tap any date in the calendar to see the full list of trades executed on that day, including instrument name, buy/sell price, quantity, and realised P&L per trade.

Note: The P&L Calendar only reflects realised P&L — i.e., profits and losses from trades that were actually closed (squared off). Open positions that are still running do not appear here until they are closed.

Tip: Use the P&L Calendar at the end of each month to review your trading consistency, a pattern of more green days than red, even with small profits, is a sign of disciplined trading.
