The company also expects more than 100 million new homes over the next decade, expanding energy infrastructure and the rapid growth of data centres to support demand for wires and cables.

Ultravolt Plans Pan-India Expansion

Ultravolt plans to establish a presence across more than 500 districts and 6,000 pin codes initially. The company is targeting:

  • More than 1 lakh retailers

  • Over 5,000 UltraTech Building Solutions outlets

  • More than 20 warehouses

  • More than 1,600 electricians already onboarded

The company also plans to train more than 40,000 electricians during the coming year under the Skill India programme with ESSCI.

Ultravolt will use UltraTech's existing relationships with home builders, contractors, real-estate developers and EPC companies to expand its distribution network.

What Products Will Ultravolt Sell?

Ultravolt has started with a portfolio covering residential as well as commercial and industrial applications. Its initial portfolio includes:

  • Home wires

  • Flexible wires

  • Cables for residential applications

  • Cables for commercial applications

  • Cables for industrial applications

  • Cables for infrastructure applications

Manufacturing Facility Already Operational

Ultravolt's manufacturing facility at Jhagadia in Gujarat's Bharuch district is operational, supporting the company's commercial launch.

The company has also opened its retail and distribution expansion alongside the manufacturing setup, with its network of warehouses and UltraTech Building Solutions outlets forming part of its planned pan-India rollout.
