How do I download my Contract Notes and Trade Statements from Sahi?

A Contract Note is a legally binding document issued by Sahi after every trading day in which you executed trades. It contains a detailed record of all your trades, charges, and taxes, and is important for income tax filing and audit purposes.

How to download your Contract Note:

  1. Open the Sahi app and go to Profile.
  2. Tap on Statements and then Contract Note.
  3. Select the date range for which you want the contract note.
  4. Tap Download. The contract note will be downloaded as a PDF to your device.
  5. You can also find daily contract notes delivered automatically to your registered email address after market close every trading day.

What a Contract Note contains:

  • Trade details: instrument name, exchange, buy/sell side, quantity, price, and trade time.
  • Net trade value for each transaction.
  • Complete itemised charges: brokerage, STT, exchange charges, SEBI fee, GST, stamp duty.
  • Net obligation: the final amount payable to or receivable from Sahi for that day's trades.

Important: Contract Notes are statutory documents. Keep them for at least 8 years, as they may be needed for income tax assessments.
