Meesho Block Deal: Meesho saw a block deal worth ₹1,650.4 Cr on Thursday, September 3, with 8 Cr shares, or 1.73% of the company's equity, changing hands. SoftBank unit is likely to be the seller, while the buyers have not been officially disclosed.
The shares changed hands at an average price of around ₹206 per share, below Meesho's previous closing price of ₹211.6. The transaction was larger than the sale initially indicated on September 2, when SoftBank was expected to sell around 7 Cr shares, or a 1.5% stake, for about ₹1,435 Cr.
Meesho shares closed 3.14% higher at ₹211.6 on September 2, taking the company's market capitalization to just under ₹97,900 Cr.
The stock was up 0.5% at ₹212.65 at 9:20 am on Thursday. Meesho shares have gained 11% over the past month and 17.11% so far in 2026.

Details of Meesho Block Deal
Prior to the transaction, as per media reports, the Meesho holder had increased the proposed sale size to $173 million, or ₹1,634 Cr, from the earlier $151 million, or ₹1,435 Cr.
SoftBank was expected to sell the shares through its investment vehicle SVF II Meerkat DE. The floor price for the proposed transaction was set at ₹205 per share.
SVF II Meerkat DE held an 8.60% stake in Meesho at the end of the June 2026 quarter, according to the company's shareholding pattern. Bank of America and JP Morgan were expected to be the bankers for the transaction.
At the end of the June quarter, promoter entities held 16.41% in Meesho, while public shareholding stood at 83.59%.

Meesho Sees Second Block Deal in a Week
Thursday's transaction is the second block deal involving Meesho within a week.
Last week, Y Combinator sold 4.85 Cr shares, representing a 1.05% stake, through a block deal for around ₹970 Cr. The shares were sold at an average price of ₹200.01.
