Airtel posts strong revenue growth in Q4 FY26, adds millions of subscribers, and announces ₹24 final dividend for shareholders.

The telecom company reported strong growth in revenue and overall business performance, helped by steady growth in its India operations and solid performance from its Africa business.

Bharti Airtel reported a consolidated net profit of ₹7,325 crore for the March quarter, compared to ₹6,631 crore in the previous quarter, reflecting a 10.5% QoQ increase. However, net profit declined 33.5% YoY against ₹11,021 crore reported in Q4 FY25.
The telecom operator reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹55,383 crore in Q4 FY26, registering a growth of 15.7% year-on-year (YoY) and 2.6% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).
Bharti Airtel’s consolidated net debt reduced to ₹1.65 lakh crore during Q4 FY26, compared to ₹1.83 lakh crore in the preceding quarter, indicating an improvement in the company’s balance sheet position.
Bharti Airtel’s Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), which measures the average monthly earnings from each customer, stood at ₹257 in Q4 FY26, higher than ₹245 reported in the same quarter last year. However, it saw a slight decline compared to ₹259 recorded in the previous quarter.
During the quarter, the telecom operator added 5.8 million new smartphone users and 0.8 million postpaid subscribers.
Airtel’s overall India mobile subscriber base grew to 37.32 crore by the end of March 2026, up from 36.85 crore in the December quarter. Meanwhile, its 4G user base also increased to 29.68 crore from 29.10 crore in Q3 FY26.
Along with the quarterly earnings, the company announced a final dividend of ₹24 per equity share for FY26. The company stated that the dividend, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), will be credited within 30 days from the AGM date. The record date for the dividend will be announced separately.
