Reliance Industries Q1 FY27 Results Highlights

  • Revenue from operations came in at ₹3,11,850 crore, up 25% from ₹2,48,660 crore a year earlier, and up over 4% from ₹2,98,621 crore in the March quarter.

  • Total income, which adds other income to operating revenue, rose 21% year-on-year to ₹3,18,400 crore and 5% over the previous quarter. Other income in the year-ago quarter included a one-time gain of ₹8,924 crore from the sale of listed investments, a gain that did not repeat this quarter. 

  • EBITDA stood at ₹47,517 crore, up close to 11% year-on-year and nearly 8% over the March quarter. EBITDA margin came in at 15.24%, an improvement from 14.78% in Q4 FY26, though still below the 17.25% margin seen in Q1 FY26, when the investment sale gain had flattered the base.

  • Net profit attributable to shareholders of the company fell 22% year-on-year to ₹20,946 crore, down from ₹26,994 crore in Q1 FY26. A quarterly comparison tells a different story, profit was up over 23% from ₹16,971 crore in the March quarter. 

  • Diluted earnings per share stood at ₹15.48 for the quarter, against ₹19.95 a year earlier and ₹12.54 in the previous quarter, tracking the same pattern as profit.

The oil-to-chemicals business was the biggest driver, with segment revenue up 30% year-on-year to ₹2,01,803 crore. The "Others" segment, which houses newer businesses, more than doubled its base, growing 69% year-on-year.
