NSDL Q1 Results FY2027: On 30 July 2026, NSDL announced its financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. Revenue from Operations increased 65.57% YoY to ₹516.63 crore, while consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) rose 9.55% YoY to ₹98.19 crore.

Ahead of the Q1 FY27 results, NSDL shares closed 0.41% lower on 30 July. On a YTD basis, NSDL stock price is  22% down

NSDL Q1 FY27 Results Highlights (Consolidated)

  • Revenue from operations came in at ₹516.63 crore, up 65.57% from ₹312.04 crore in the same quarter last year. Quarterly, revenue rose 12.73% from ₹458.26 crore in the March quarter.

  • Total income, which adds other income to operating revenue, stood at ₹560.49 crore, up 61.63% year-on-year from ₹346.79 crore. And QoQ, total income grew 15.14% from ₹486.80 crore.

  • EBITDA came at ₹100.96 crore, up 6.05% from ₹95.20 crore a year earlier. Against the March quarter's ₹103.91 crore, EBITDA slipped 2.84%. 

  • EBITDA margin fell to 19.55%, down from 30.51% in Q1 FY26 and 22.67% in Q4 FY26. 

  • Consolidated profit after tax attributable to owners of the parent stood at ₹98.19 crore, up 9.55% year-on-year from ₹89.63 crore, and up 8.97% from ₹90.11 crore in the preceding quarter. 

  • Diluted EPS came in at ₹4.91, against ₹4.48 a year ago and ₹4.51 in Q4 FY26.

  • Separately, the company noted that its subsidiary, NSDL Database Management, is working through a regulator-mandated demerger of its insurance repository business into a standalone entity, following directions from IRDAI. The unit contributed ₹1.45 crore in revenue during the quarter and remains a small part of the subsidiary's overall business.

Banking services overtook depository as the largest revenue contributor this quarter, more than doubling year-on-year, while the depository segment, NSDL's traditional mainstay, grew at a steadier low double-digit pace.
