Avenue Supermarts reported a steady start to FY27 with consolidated revenue from operations rising to ₹18,794.53 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2026, compared with ₹16,359.70 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue also increased from ₹17,683.86 crore reported in March 2026 quarter

Total income stood at ₹18,820.31 crore, up from ₹16,379.13 crore a year earlier and ₹17,702.03 crore in the previous quarter. This represents a 14.90% YoY increase and a 6.32% QoQ rise.

Consolidated net profit rose 11.34% YoY and 31.08% QoQ. Diluted earnings per share increased to ₹13.20 from ₹11.85 a year ago and ₹10.09 in the previous quarter.

DMart Q1 Category-wise Performance

DMart's Foods category contributed 54.93% of revenue in Q1 FY27, down from 55.60% a year ago.

The Non-Foods category remained stable at 19.60%, while General Merchandise and Apparel segment increased its share to 25.47% from 24.73% in Q1 FY26.

The company added 3 stores during the quarter, taking its total store count to 503 as of 30 June 2026, while continuing its cluster-based expansion strategy.

Its online grocery business, DMart Ready, operated by Avenue E-Commerce Ltd (AEL), reported a loss of ₹91.39 crore for the quarter. The company discontinued operations in seven cities that were marginal contributors and now operates in 11 cities.
