Total income, which includes other income, rose 40.23% YoY to ₹9,852.20 crore from ₹7,025.49 crore, and climbed 29.84% over the last quarter's ₹7,588.08 crore.

EBITDA came in at ₹3,008.45 crore. That marks a 29.98% rise from ₹2,314.58 crore a year ago and a 40.25% jump from ₹2,145.01 crore in the previous quarter. EBITDA margin stood at 30.98% of revenue from operations, higher than the 28.82% seen last quarter but below the 33.94% recorded in the same quarter last year.

Consolidated profit attributable to owners came in at ₹1,149.06 crore, more than doubling from ₹512.48 crore a year earlier, a rise of 124.20%. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, profit is up 68.05% from ₹683.78 crore in Q4 FY26.

Diluted EPS for the quarter, after adjusting for the regulatory deferral account movement, stood at ₹9.57, against ₹5.69 in Q4 FY26 and ₹4.27 in Q1 FY26.

The one big corporate development disclosed was a binding agreement to acquire a 100% stake in IntelliSmart Infrastructure Private Limited, a smart metering joint venture between National Investment and Infrastructure Fund and Energy Efficiency Services Limited.

The deal is valued at ₹3,050 crore and is meant to strengthen the company's position as India's largest smart metering platform, which already covers more than 4.7 crore smart meters. Closing remains subject to regulatory approvals.
